Inchconnanchan Island is located in the Trossachs National Park and is accessible by boat from Luss which is less than a 15-minute drive from Loch Lomond Hotel.

Inchconnanchan means “the Colquhoun’s Island” and the island is known for being the home to red-necked wallabies, a smaller relative of kangaroos. The wallabies are known to hop across the frozen loch and play in the neighbouring woods. The island is also full of yew trees and is known as having a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. People who are looking for a quiet place to camp often do so at Inchconnanchan.
