The Loch Lomond Faerie Trail is just a 15-minute drive from Loch Lomond Hotel.
The Loch Lomond Faerie Trail is an award-winning woodland with faeries, trolls, unicorns, slippery slopes, knobbly trees, amazing views and fantastic food. The trial is about a mile long and depending on your pace it can take between 1 and 3 hours.
Don’t worry if you’re bringing your furry family member with you on holiday – the faerie trail is dog friendly!
Don’t Miss the Halloween Spectacular
The Faerie Trail has two special events, the scary or not so scary, in October for Halloween!
The not so scary trail will run from 9am to 4pm every day in October except for the 4-7th. This trail is not too scary – making it suitable for all ages! During the trail you will meet faeries, trolls and animals.
The scary trail will run from 5.30pm to 8.30pm every night from the 8th October to the 31st of October. This trail features steep hills and steps and takes place in the dusk and the dark – so make sure to bring your torch! Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on this trial and due to the nature of the trail it is recommended for over 8s.
